**HR DIRECTOR**

**BARCELONA**

We are looking for an **HR Manager** for an **important Pharmaceutical Company**.

Reporting directly to the Company CHRO, is responsible to lead the HR function in Iberia and Greece. (~550 employees)

In a fast growing company, the role will hold full leadership and accountability for delivering the local Human Resources strategy and practices. As HR leader with local and international background designs and implements the appropriate framework for our matrix structure, to leverage the full span of the HR functions and focus on aligning our strategic business and HR objectives with human capital strategies, specifically for the local teams. With great knowledge of employment relationship, proven leadership skills and knowledge of employment legislation for Spain and Portugal will proactively seek for improvement opportunities on all people management matters.

**Major Accountabilities**:

- Participate in the development of the organization's plans and programs as a strategic partner for the CHRO to leverage the practices and impact greater on the local teams.
- Translate strategic and tactical Corporate HR plans into local HR strategic and operational plans.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning of new programs/strategies and regulatory action affecting the attraction, motivation, development and retention.
- Partner and develop effective strategies with corporate HR team members to leverage practices such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, D&I and Learning.
- Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce appropriate HR policies, programs, tools and HR technology strategies for effective management of the people resources of the organization for the direct and indirect labor organizations.
- Leads end-to-end the relationship with the local workcouncils
- Ensure full compliance with local HR policies, programs, laws and issues.
- Seeks for improvement opportunities and develop strategies to enhance local HR team and processes.
- Leads and coordinates with in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal, finance and other departments as needed/required.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Anticipates and provides feedback on key issues to corporate management to ensure alignment from corporate and business key stakeholders
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention.
- Leads the local HR team to ensure best practices in terms of recruitment, development, employee relations and administration
- Leads key hirings searches and ensures on boarding programs accordingly to seniority level and role type

**Minimum Experience**:

- Multi-year experience in HR at senior HR business partner, HR Head, HR Director, country HR manager, or similar level.
- Knowledge of regional (multi-country) labor relations policies, strategies, risk mitigation and legal landscape
- Experience with Works Councils and / or Unions in at least Spain
