**Position focus**: Plan, direct or coordinate activities in areas such as architecture and engineering or research and development in these fields.

**Responsibilities**:

- Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority over project engineers for the planning, organization, management, integration, execution and completion of engineering projects in assigned area of responsibility
- Manages the operational aspects of the field or project
- Plans and formulates engineering program and organizes project personnel according to project requirements
- Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of the project, such as engineering studies, product design, preparation of specifications and engineering plans, and product testing, in accordance with the engineering disciplines of the staff
- Creates and maintains all project plans
- Coordinates and maintains quality assurance while minimizing potential project risks
- Oversees product design review for compliance with technical principles, organizational standards, customer contract requirements and related specifications
- Tracks and and reviews the reports and status of each team member
- Coordinates activities related to technical development, planning and design and test problem solving
- Manages the integration of technical activities and products
- Reviews and approves design changes, specifications and drawing versions
- Controls expenditures within project budget constraints

**Requirements**:

- BSME or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant experience
