Scania Finance Hispania was established in year 2001 with headquarters in Madrid, Spain. Today Scania Finance Hispania is responsible to service its customers in Spain and Portugal.

Scania Finance Hispania employs 45 individuals, servicing approximately 1.500 customers and 4500 contracts with healthy market presence (over 50% penetration for Scania main product portfolio).

The Sales Director (the SD) has a leading, organizational and coordinating role. The department is represented by the 7 Financial sales representatives (the FR’s) with responsibility anchored in respective geographical regions within Spain and Portugal plus 2 assistances in back-office. The role reports to the Managing Director (the MD) and is member of the Management team. As the main ambassador for Scania Financial Services in the market, the SD will be tasked with introducing, attracting and retaining profitable business for the company, whilst putting the customers’ needs first and ensuring a value proposition for their business. The SD is a business partner to the Scania Financial Services organization, commercial operations and customers, strongly focused on sustainable business, whilst building long standing relationships with potential and existing customers. The SD is responsible for managing a client base, managing the team of Financial Representatives spread geographically all over Spain and Portugal, and managing the relationship with commercial operations sales staff and management. Location in Madrid.

Your Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in formulating the company strategy, business targets, goals and supporting tactical initiatives
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the Management Team
- Coordinate sales statistics within region of responsibility
- Negotiation of financing conditions as prescribed by the Credit Policy
- Provide coaching, assistance and development to all subordinates
- Develop and maintain the integration and good working relations with Commercial Operations staff and management (Third Parties)

Aptitudes y conocimientos deseados:

- University education/Degree and minimum five years work experience in a senior and leading position in a Financial Services Sector, preferably with international experience -Experience in building sales networks, with good credit understanding -Strong focus on leasing portfolio growth -Highly developed leadership and communication -Negotiation skills and finding solution -Project management and control -Lean and Total Quality.Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is a requirement -Regular travel in the region of responsibility, as well as international travels when needed
