Job Description:
The Coordinator of Information Technology and Campus Services supervises daily IT and telecommunication operations on Berklee College of Music’s Valencia campus including maintenance and repair. In conjunction with the Academic and Information Technology Manager, they are responsible for operation of the campus’s internet, WiFi, telephone/cellular service, printing, classroom technology, and campus-wide computer hardware and software for staff, students, and faculty.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide staff, students and faculty with technical assistance relating to internet, computers and phones- Support and maintain:
- Campus internet, WIFI and mobile service-
- Campus printer network-
- Campus data storage systems-
- Network connectivity between the campus and external facilities (Palau, Science Museum, etc.)-
- Provide classroom technology support (projectors, computers, network)- Ensure campus facilities are regularly maintained and are in compliance with regulations- Assist the Production Team by providing any necessary IT support for events both on and off campus- Ensure that hardware and software work properly at all campus stations- Support faculty and staff on technology-related issues- Maintain organized IT facilities- Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Experience working in computer technology and expertise with the Macintosh operating system- Expertise with and knowledge of up-to-date IT services, principles, and practices- Background in maintenance and repair of computer systems, phones, printers, projectors- Experience working in a client-based environment and excellent customer service skills- Experience with Active Directory, NAS, and Virtual Environments.- Strong knowledge of network design and protocols.- Must work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a group- Excellent troubleshooting skills- Strong organizational and time management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate and relevant discipline is a plus.- Fluent English and Spanish skills required (B2 or higher for both languages)
