**Position Summary**:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team at NexGen Cloud. As the Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations, managing financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to process financial transactions and resolve finance-related inquiries.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial data and analysis as required.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a junior accountant or in a similar financial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, adhering to ethical standards in financial practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing or technology industry is a plus, but not mandatory
