This position involves close collaboration with colleagues, customers and suppliers across the globe so if you are self motivated, with a background in Automotive and enjoy supporting and working closely with people, this may be the position for you
**Responsibilities**:
As a Process Engineer, your main task is to improve the manufacturing process to achieve optimal efficiency, minimize delivery time and achieve zero defects by ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements for new projects.
Document, study and analyze the production process and implement improvements that bring efficiency to the processes.
Work with the project team to complete the project implementation succesfully.
Training and technical support for operators, assistants and team leaders in the operation and use of machinery, equipment or lines to ensure product delivery with quality and time standars.
**Requirements**:
If you have strong organization and time management skills and feel that you have a systematic and positive approach to dealing with issues and customers this may be the right position for you.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- Bsc in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering.
- 2 to 5 years of previous experience in the automotive sector in production departments, processes, or development of metal and plastic products.
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's, robotics...
- It is desirable that you have experience in bending, forming, extrusion, component assembly, leak testing and/or detection by artificial vision cameras.
- High level of English.
- Advanced Office user (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Knowledge of CAD (CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, INVENTOR,).
- Knowledge of automotive standards IATF16949, PDCA/A3.
- SAP experience desirable.
