**We are now looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
**What will you do in our team?
- As a **_Project Manager _**, you will be responsible for managing new Global Service Platforms projects to develop the platforms used by Vertiv Customer Engineers, Vertiv Partners or Vertiv Customers in the following areas: Data Collection, Service Knowledge, Data Management, Data Utilization;
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for engineering development of new and derivative Global Services Platforms.
- Maintain the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Manage product development cycle through NPDI Vertiv Phase-gate process.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Collaboratively work with multi-disciplinary engineering team to ensure reviews and recommendations are completed to professional standards.
- Control and track the yearly budget identifying and correcting deviation
- Generate PO´s for external suppliers
- Prepare strategic review meetings in coordination with the product owners
- Establish regular cadence meetings to follow the team activity.
- Track overall activities for the different programs.
- Establish common practices for the different groups, product owners and eng groups
- Follow Vertiv standards related NPDI process and IT projects (Tracking of revision, requirements, incidents)

**What will make you successful?**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or business-related field. PMP or MBA certification would be a plus.
- Five years’ experience in a program or project management related role primarily in Services organizations. PMP/6Sigma Black Belt would be a plus.
- Experience with projects supporting new product development and introduction.
- Experience in Service Organization managing projects at global or regional level.
- Strong knowledge project management standards and practices.
- Requires excellent verbal and writing skills to communicate effectively with internal clients and their representatives, contractors, field engineers, peers, and top management.
- Requires mature judgment, responsible for assigned projects and supervises, organizes, and directs the work of others even without having direct management responsibilities.
- High level of English, verbal, listening and writing.
- Requires high degree of communication, supervisory and organization skills.
- Ability to effectively deal with a wide variety of competing demands
- Interpersonal skills
- to negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
- Able to meet project deliverables under aggressive time deadlines
- Able to interact with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential information.
