**Job Description and Requirements**

Synopsys is seeking a dynamic Application Engineer (AE) who will drive increased usage of our Static Verification products in both pre-sale and post-sale capacity. Pre-sales tasks include results-oriented benchmarks and evaluations, articulating the advantages of our tools too our customer’s design teams and management. Post-sales tasks include customer training, resolving technical issues and advance collaboration initiatives for product enhancements. The job involves working closely with users/customers and multiple organizations like R&D, marketing, sales among others.

Key Qualifications:

- Static Verification experience with Synopsys Spyglass/VC Spyglass or comparable tools.
- Deep understanding of Clock/Reset Domain Crossing and metastability concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- BSEE/MSEE required with 5-7+ years of experience.

Preferred Experience:

- Synthesis experience/knowledge.
- Familiarity/experience with Low-Power verification, estimation, and reduction concepts
- Strong tcl knowledge
- Prior customer facing role is a plus.
