Senior IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager (IT PM) for Barcelona (Spain) who will be responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, documentation, validation, and controlling of medium and large IT projects and programs. The IT PM will monitor and track the progress of project tasks and deliverables of internal subject matter experts and external consultants. The IT PM establishes and maintains relationships with project stakeholders and provides regular updates to them. The IT PM manages project risks and mitigation actions and is responsible for the successful completion of projects and handover to the RUN organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Project planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling
Monitor and track the progress of project tasks and deliverables
Manage project risks and issues
Monitor the development process to ensure quality standards are met
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders
Utilize Agile tools to track and manage project progress
Train and mentor team members on Agile methodology
Ensure compliance with Agile processes and best practices
Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
Identify and address any impediments that impact team performance
Facilitate team meetings
Produce and analyze project metrics to identify areas for improvement
Ensure successful delivery of projects within budget, scope, and timeline
Supports IT portfolio management process
Supports Junior IT PMs and subject matter experts
Perform other duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
Good knowledge of IT business systems and related processes
Understanding of project delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment
Ability to manage project teams
Experienced in project planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling
Ability to identify project risks and define mitigation actions
Experienced with agile tools (Jira) to track and manage project progress
Proven ability to drive toward a goal and manage different workstreams within a project
Can-do attitude
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
Execute on projects where all the information is not always available, and priorities can change
Report and communicate progress, issues, and plans to stakeholders in a comprehensive manner
