Necesitan encontrar su Senior Director of Engineering, para liderar el grupo de Product Platform. ¿Aceptas el reto?Nexthink es una compañía internacional compuesta por más de 700 personas de todo el mundo con una sola misión: mejorar la experiencia de los equipos de sus clientes para que sean más productivos, eficientes y, sobre todo, más felices. ¿Y cómo lo consiguen? Han creado una plataforma en la nube que ayuda a las empresas a solucionar los problemas de sus equipos, automatizando respuestas y analizando los datos analíticos recogidos en tiempo real.Para que te hagas una idea, están monitorizando actualmente 10+millones de dispositivos con su software.Para seguir creciendo están buscando una persona que asuma el rol de Senior Director of Engineering en la oficina de Madrid para generar un impacto tanto en el grupo como en el producto.El departamento de ingeniería de producto, formado por 200+ personas, está dividido en 5 grupos:3 grupos de Producto2 grupos de PlatformComo Sr. Director of Engineering, liderarás uno de los dos grupos de Platform desde sus oficinas de Madrid, aunque tendrás a tus equipos distribuidos por las otras sedes de Nexthink (Lausanne y Bangalore).Pero... ¿qué se hace en el grupo de Product Platform? Pues... no te vas a aburrir, porque todo esto está dentro de las responsabilidades del grupo:Desarrollo de los componentes estandares de UI.Product administration, con toda la parte de configuración de autorizaciones y permisos.Gestión del contenido.Utilizan muchas tecnologías distintas dentro del grupo, entre ellas:React para los componentes de UI.Usan varios motores de base de datos, pero las más grandes son:Clickhouse para guardar los datos de los dispositivos.AWS Aurora para guardar los datos de configuración del producto.Actualmente, el reto en el que están embarcados es la reescritura del producto para convertir el producto OnPremise en una arquitectura multitennant en el cloud de AWS, usando Kafka y Clickhouse. Pinta bien, ¿no?Además de con tu grupo, será muy importante la comunicación con el resto de Group Leads. Cuidarás de toda la gente de otros equipos de ingeniería que estén en Madrid, así como el resto de directores cuidarán de tus equipos que estén en sus sedes.
