Iberia Purchasing Manager

Decisions: At Legal unit level Main tasks: Where applicable manage the teams of Country Buyer(s) Support the strategies indicated by Lead Buyers, Technical Buyers, and Indirect Lead Buyers on product families within the role, providing feedback on the local market view.
Ensure the application of improvements determined by Lead Buyers, Technical Buyers, and Indirect Lead Buyers by interfacing with local manufacturing facilities to obtain quality approval on proposed new materials and suppliers.
Integrate Lead Buyers, Technical Buyers, and Indirect Lead Buyers' proposals with emerging opportunities from the local market and local expertise.
Identify potential savings and continuous improvement measures, initiate, coordinate, and track resulting initiatives using the Autoneum MOVE Implementation tool.
Act as the primary interface with plant management and local stakeholders for purchasing-related matters and provide support to PC&L and Quality as the first escalation level for supplier-related issues.
Provide evaluations according to the AUTONEUM SPI standard for supply relationship performance measurement (R score: Flexibility, Communication, Problem-solving, etc.).
Cover the purchasing needs for all products not yet covered by BGEU Lead Buyers, Technical Buyers, and Indirect Lead Buyers' presence, as well as end tail spend (Indirect and Direct/Service parts).
Ensure that the financial purchasing performance is well understood and reported financial figures are correct and under control.
Contribute to budget creation and realization.
Ensure proper handover from the project phase to series at APD Gate 3 by liaising with the project buying team and local stakeholders.
Manage local engineering changes in the serial life.
Support the Head Purchasing Administration in ensuring an accurate, smooth, and timely processing of all purchasing documents and related administrative tasks.
Budget responsibility Your qualifications Required experience: At least 4 years of experience as a senior Buyer in global automotive companies.
Assertive approach to the suppliers market and negotiation.
Proactivity and persistence in achieving targets and strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and networking abilities with various stakeholder functions.
Quick responsiveness to manufacturing needs.
Ability to work in an international context.
Transparent work approach and strong integrity.
Highly proficient in standard IT software, business systems, and purchasing applications.
Hands-on attitude, reliability, and dedication.
Ability to manage and engage remote teams effectively.
Required qualifications: University degree or comparable work experience Tools MS Office 365 ERP business systems (SAP R/3, module MM, SRM) Additional information Measurables: Realize Purchasing Budget of the year for the Purchasing Families managed on the Regional Plants including improvements proposed by Lead Buyers.
Prepare the feasibility of Budget of incoming year with a reliable improvements plan (MOVE).
Provide a Local market view on material sources.
Comply to the BGEU Purchase strategies, organization, procedures, and tools within the managed team.
