Our client is an international player in the health and well-being industry, specializing in the development, production, and marketing of a wide range of products. The Spanish subsidiary generates a double-digit Mio. € turnover and sells CDMO services, white label, and branded products manufactured by the Spanish site, other group's manufacturing sites in Europe, or third parties. Customers include grocery & specialized retail chains (including pharmacies) and originators, e.g., pharmaceutical laboratories. Spain is an important market for the group and has significant potential for the group's international strategic portfolio.
For our client, we are now seeking a dynamic & experienced leader to head the commercial operations in Spain as Managing Director (a.G.), with a strong focus on Business Development. This role requires an experienced professional who can define the strategic direction and at the same time act as an operational sales director, driving the acquisition of new business.
YOUR KEY TASK Lead the Spanish commercial organization to take the company to the next level by identifying and realizing sales opportunities with the group's international portfolio.
Heading the commercial strategy and sales operations, expanding the product portfolio and the customer universe in the Spanish market, with attention to revenue/pricing and cost management to increase profitability.
Develop, drive and lead the organization, motivating the team, facilitating follow-up and being an inspirational leader, generating and fostering a positive and challenging atmosphere.
Steering the day-to-day commercial operations in Spain, based on structured KPIs.
Being an active member of the international commercial leadership team.

YOUR PROFILE Proven experience in commercial management with a focus on revenue growth, pricing/margin, sales/marketing (including innovation/new product development).
Minimum 10 years of successful experience in commercial leadership.
Deep understanding of the market, knowing main distribution channels and key players, especially in grocery and health retail chains, capable of establishing new partnerships and strategic alliances to open up new business opportunities.
