With 15,000 employees operating in more than 25 countries, we achieved a turnover of 1.1 billion euros in 2019.Expleo is recruiting for a System Engineer Junior to work on an international project.Responsibilities:As part of the Systems & Safety team, our Systems Engineers are responsible for delivering systems support to our business and clients, including activities such as:Elicitation of system/equipment level requirements from customer requirementsSupporting design, development & certification activities including V&V (Validation and Verification)Preparation and checking of documentation for the design processRunning/supporting/attending internal/external design reviewsSupporting certification planning activities, test analysis and documentationSupporting system and equipment level modificationsWorking to resolve in-service issuesQualifications:Candidates will ideally be degree qualified in a related discipline.Essential skills:Specific skills/experience should include some of the following:Equipment/system design, development and/or certification for civil aircraft (CS-23, -25)Fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft equipment/system design and developmentFamiliarity with typical electro-mechanical / hydro-mechanical components used in aircraft systems and structures such as:Fuel (ATA- 28)Experience of DO178B/DO254 Software/Hardware designKnowledge of ARP4754 – Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft and SystemsAwareness of industry requirements/specifications such as RTCA, SAE, TSO, ARINC, etc.Working within a quality system environment, such as AS9100, ISO9001Ability to lead activities within a team, work package creation, management, and deliveryDesired skills:Familiarity with typical electro-mechanical / hydro-mechanical components used in aircraft systems and structures such as:Landing gear (ATA-32)flight controls (ATA-27)power (ATA-24)Experience:At least one year of experience as a System Engineer in the aerospace sector.Benefits:Collaborative working environment – we stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients and peers through good times and challenges.We empower all passionate technology-loving professionals by allowing them to expand their skills and take part in inspiring projects
