Whether you're looking to grow a new skill or experience a new role, there's no time like the present to take the next step; and we're here to support you in your journey.About the jobThe SAS Managed Cloud Global Enablement and Sales Support team is looking to expand its capabilities in Southern Europe.We are seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Architect with knowledge and experience of SAS solutions, architecture and working with customers in a sales cycle to support and drive the continued profitable growth in SAS Managed Cloud.In this role, you will apply expertise in technical architecture, vision creation, best practices, and overall technical knowledge to guide and support sales and business development towards successful outcomes.You will possess the ability to build confidence and trust through excellent communication, consulting and presentation skills.As a member of a global and highly experienced team, you will get the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills and abilities, and to initiate and contribute to ideas that increase customer satisfaction, profitability, and efficiencies in line with the SAS values and business plan.As a Cloud Technical Architect, you will :Leverage detailed technical knowledge of SAS Architecture and SAS Managed Cloud requirements to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains.Liaise between delivery and sales teams to ensure that deliverables, pricing and other expectations are correctly set to ensure successful projects and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with sales teams to set strategies and objectives for customer meetings, in alignment with the plan for an account or opportunity.Build trusted relationships with Account Executives and client accounts to provide practical guidance in the technical aspects of proposed solutions and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.Assist in the response to RFI / RFPs, utilizing the RFP Repository and crafting your own compelling answers.Work with sales team to provide functional and technical leadership for sales opportunities.Create and present enablement material to ensure new and updated capabilities are shared with our internal stakeholders and well understood.Required qualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or similar.Five years of technical sales, systems engineering, applications development, and / or technical architecture.Deep and broad knowledge of SAS technology, architecture and resourcesExperience in the design of SAS (or similar) Solutions preferably from presales through to implementation
