About the job

SAS values and business plan.
As a Cloud Technical Architect, you will:
- Leverage detailed technical knowledge of
SAS Architecture and
SAS Managed Cloud requirements to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains. - Liaise between delivery and sales teams to ensure that deliverables, pricing and other expectations are correctly set to ensure successful projects and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales teams to set strategies and objectives for customer meetings, in alignment with the plan for an account or opportunity.
- Build trusted relationships with Account Executives and client accounts to provide practical guidance in the technical aspects of proposed solutions and set proper expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the response to RFI/RFPs, utilizing the RFP Repository and crafting your own compelling answers.
- Work with sales team to provide functional and technical leadership for sales opportunities.
- Create and present enablement material to ensure new and updated capabilities are shared with our internal stakeholders and well understood.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering or similar.
- Deep and broad knowledge of
SAS technology, architecture and resources - Experience in the design of
SAS (or similar) Solutions preferably from presales through to implementation. - Commercial awareness, and firsthand involvement in large, complex salescycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Travel
10% or as business requirements dictate at management discretion.

Preferred qualifications
- Commercial Cloud vendor technical certifications.
- Skills and experience in requirements gathering, facilitation and consulting.
- Clear understanding of sales strategies and cycles.
- Good problem solving, decisionmaking and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Location
Italy, or Southern Europe
