About the job SAS Spainis looking for a Sales Manager to manage our team of Sales professionals focused on our largest and most strategic customers in Banking, Insurance, Retail, Telco & other Commercial industries. The team starts 2024 with a solid pipeline as well as with an established roadmap for the coming years.
We're looking for a Sales Manager who is customer-obsessed and ready to walk into a room backed by 40 years of analytics excellence and innovation. We need someone who is passionate about building authentic relationships with our customers, wants to help solve our customers' problems and is ready to drive sales of our world-class software products, solutions and services.

About the team In this role, you will be reporting to the newly appointed country manager, Guilherme Reis. Guilherme has joined SAS in 2010 and has successfully grown within SAS, leading various teams for the last 7 years before his promotion as Iberia Country Lead. The team you will be trusted with is a perfect blend of experience and passion, existing of 7 driven Account Executives, having a mix of seniority.
As a Sales Manager, you will: Be responsible for the achievement of total software revenue target and the management of business objectives. Plan and implement growth plans for software, consulting services, and education services. Direct management of sales and sales support activities for staff members to implement growth plans and sales activities. Develop and implement marketing, sales, and business development plans to exceed target levels. Generate new business through strategic-based selling and managing relationships with key customers. Be responsible for communication with sales management team to coordinate account strategies. Be responsible for hiring, directing and evaluating staff. Work in conjunction with the Strategic Pricing Group to negotiate contracts and bids. Responsible for timely and accurate forecasting (PTG) of software, consulting services, and education services, with a -5/+5 margin error. Required qualifications Previous track record in quota achievement as an Account Executive, ideally within software companies. Extensive knowledge and network within our core industries (Banking and Insurance). Demonstrated experience in a similar role and demonstrated management and coaching skills. Ability to manage, negotiate, and close multiple complex sales opportunities that may be international. Capacity to make corporate strategy your own through measured and efficient localization. Excellent communication skills, both in Spanish and English. You're curious, passionate, authentic and accountable. These are our and influence everything we do.
