Valeo is a tech global company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent the mobility.We are an automotive supplier partner to automakers and new mobility actors worldwide.Our vision?Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions.We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.Valeo Group is one of the world's largest Automotive suppliers which is an inspired company focused on innovative products, development and customer satisfaction.Working with us means managing the most advanced and sophisticated technologies.Our Martos plant is one of the biggest sites within our Visibility Systems Business Group in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics.From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.Your Mission and responsibilities will be: Mission:The G/L Accountant Leader provide timely, reliable and valuable financial information of each legal entity managed by his reduced team.She/He ensures compliance of financial information (for tax and statutory accounts purpose) with local Gaaps and IFRS.Responsibilities: Executing of subsequent operations in accounting system (unblocking for payment, payments processing, items clearing, ...)Recording of accounting transactions in assigned area according to the local law and MAF standardsMonthly/Yearly closing preparation including supporting documentation  for local taxes returnPrimary documents requirements check (MAES) & verify consistency between legal entities inside his/her perimeterPrepare and ensure accurate reporting in GPS of RS and tax package Supervision of complete accounting ledgers (receivables, payables, fixed assets, general, analytical trend review)Prepare  statutory accounts  and monthly financial reporting in line with  IFRSEnsure monthly closing files/closing binder elaboration with appropriate supporting documentationReview Closing binder with Site Financial Controller and establish/review action plan inside SSC (with AP/AR, Tax)Coordinate  information on all  changes in  local regulation principles regarding accounting and taxes if neededControl and manages all  payroll entries &  accruals and  payroll interface in SAPEnsure accurate documentation of all provisions and employee benefits (pensions)Reconcile IFRS and Statutory equityPrepare and ensure relevant documentation for external auditors and tax inspectionEnsure accurate monthly tax declaration (VAT; customs & duties) if not done by Tax departmentVAT returns preparation and processing if requiredCommunication with partners (external and internal)Review with SAS assets activation (MAF lifetime, follow up of assets in progress activation)E-proc requests approving (check of account number)Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeos policies.
