Beyond the professionalism of each individual, at UIC Barcelona, you will find a young and dynamic working atmosphere.About your roleWe are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in the IRAPP (Research Institute for Evaluation and Public Policies) for the project "FLASH – Flexible Approach to Support Health through Financing" funded by the Horizon Europe Programme. The project focuses on "Better financing models for health systems."Key tasksThe research fellow will autonomously develop the research topics and be able to use empirical econometric methods. A relevant research activity is related to a systematic review of the international literature on several aspects of Health Economics. Further research activities are also associated with statistical data analysis and Machine Learning techniques.Duties will include:Search related literature.Write research academic papers.Conduct microeconometric analysis.Apply Machine Learning methodologies.The postdoctoral associate is expected to develop proficiency in relevant literature in this research area, be involved in preparing first- and co-authored manuscripts and research proposals, and make presentations at professional meetings.Where to apply E-mail: ****** Research Field: Economics » Economic policyEducation Level: Master Degree or equivalentSkills/QualificationsThe following aspects of the applicant's CV will be taken into account:Professional knowledge and experience.
