As part of their growth strategy, they are looking to expand their sales team and are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Agent to join their dynamic workforce in the Iberian region.Job Summary:The Sales Agent will be responsible for both business development and account management across Spain and Portugal.
This role involves expanding the customer base, while also managing and nurturing relationships with around 250 existing clients.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of generating new business while ensuring the continued satisfaction and growth of existing accounts.
The role requires fluency in Spanish (native level) and English, with a focus on the Iberian market.Key Responsibilities:Business Development Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Spain and Portugal, targeting key industries such as logistics, mining, and manufacturing.Account Management: Manage a portfolio of approximately 250 clients in Spain and Portugal, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction, handling inquiries, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, delivering excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.Sales Presentations Negotiations: Present sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts with existing and potential clients.Cross-Selling Upselling: Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services to existing clients, maximizing the value of each account.Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity in Spain and Portugal to identify opportunities and threats.Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and client status to the Sales Manager.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure a smooth sales process and efficient follow-up on leads.Requirements:Languages: Native-level Spanish and fluent English are essential.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in sales and account management, ideally in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related sectors.Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with belt lacing, conveyor systems, or industrial solutions is advantageous but not required.Sales Account Management Skills: Strong ability to both generate new business and manage existing client relationships effectively.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical products to diverse audiences.Client-Centric: A strong customer service mindset, with the ability to handle client inquiries and issues efficiently and professionally.Self-Starter: Motivated, independent, and results-driven, able to work with minimal supervision.Tech Savvy: Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.Travel: Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and Portugal for client meetings, trade shows, and other business events.Why Join Us?Growth Opportunities: Our client offers significant opportunities for career advancement in an expanding global market.International Exposure: Be part of a multinational company, working with teams across Europe and Latin America.Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary package with performance-based incentives.Training Development: Access to continuous professional development and training in both sales and technical product knowledge.
