Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare and/or review necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.G., GAAP) and company policy. Performs general bookkeeping and account management duties, including accounts payable, cash management, cash collection, and tax reporting.In this role, your main tasks will be:Balance sheet and P&L deep knowledge for monthly BS reconciliations and analysisMonthly booking and reconciliation of bank accountsResponsible for calculation and filing of monthly and quarterly returns, VAT, Intrastat, and EC SalesResponsible for the travel expenses accounting process and credit card managementAssists others for cash collection of customers assigned (checking Overdue and DSO)Support on month/year end closing processes.Assists others in Finance as required (e.G. Tax, Financial reporting, Administrative stuff).Accounts payable responsibilities (book invoices, prepare payments...)The essential requirements of the job include:2 to 3 years of experience in general accounting tasks (AP and AR knowledge is a plus)Degree in Economics or ADEDetail-oriented and good knowledge of English is highly recommended.Demonstrated proficiency with MS-Office products, including Excel, Word, and E-mailExperience with ERP systems Oracle is an asset.At Hach (Hach Careers), we ensure water quality for people around the world, and every associate plays a vital role in that mission.
