How to Contribute to Our Vision Your key responsibilities: Advise, consult and closely collaborate with the Head of COG in strategic matters.
Actively manage stakeholders in business units (mainly Head of Sales, Head of Project Execution) and TE (mainly Platform heads) and represent COG in their core leadership meetings.
Ensure the synchronization of all business relevant activities within COG.
Develop the long-term supply chain strategy and translate it into a long-term supply chain program.
Manage strategic projects in COG.
Coordinate and orchestrate the long-, mid- and short-term planning cycles.
Structure, coordinate and evaluate footprint scenarios.
Manage monthly Sales & Operations planning and project approval with regards to procurement guidelines and capacity availability.
Solve escalations, e.g., in case of short-term deviations or output performance issues.
Mastermind future systems, tools, structures and processes to ensure lean and efficient working in COG.
Manage and drive all platform-related activities in COG, e.g., new product introduction, manufacturability, early supplier involvement, engineering change management, platform costs.
Manage cost-out activities including program management.
Manage, build, and develop an international team of around 100 employees and create a positive culture with results-oriented dynamics.
What Do I Need to Qualify for the Job?
Experience: Leadership profile with strong evidence in building and managing cross-cultural, international teams in a matrix organization.
Relevant experience in international environments with a high level of complexity in supply chain.
Experience in areas like supply chain, consulting, operations management.
Competences: Executing for results: The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; tenacious and accountable in driving results.
Setting strategy: The inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy.
Relationship and influencing: Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
Leadership skills: The ability to attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance; widely viewed as a strong developer of others.
A leader who is self-reflective and aware of his/her own limitations; leads by example and drives the organization's performance with an attitude of continuous improvement by being open to feedback and self-improvement.
Communication: An ability to inspire trust and followership in others through compelling influence, transparent communication, passion in his/her beliefs, and active drive.
Knowledge: State of the art knowledge of planning and other relevant strategic tools and methods.
Consultancy background or similar with the ability to quickly condense complex matters into messaging would be of help.
You hold a degree within Engineering or similar technical fields.
Fluent in English.
