Job Description You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, resilient software solutions.
Working in an agile environment, you will contribute to the development of our shared service applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
While we aim for robust and well-architected solutions, there is also an expectation to support production systems and assist in resolving outages when required.
You will work with other developers from different levels and backgrounds, Project Manager, Development Manager, QA team, and Technical Lead.
Additionally, you will support and advise business users on various matters during working hours.
ResponsibilitiesBuild high-quality, resilient, and scalable applications following software development best practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).Design, develop, and maintain component-based cloud applications in a web/internet delivery environment, alone or with other developers.Work with a range of database technologies, including OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.Perform SQL analysis regarding query performance, efficiency, or troubleshooting.Contribute to infrastructure and deployment processes, working with EKS, Lambda, and EC2.Scope, implement, test, and deploy new features and versions of core applications, databases, and utilities.Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.Provide estimates and risk analysis over created stories and topics.Perform hands-on coding and assist in the design of solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).Participate actively in planning meetings, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and other meetings.Provide documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates when requested.Write and design technical documents.Participate actively in reviews and technical design meetings, providing valuable feedback.Assist with providing third-level support to business users.Support and maintain production systems, including participating in on-call rotations for critical issues if required.Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.Continuously improve development processes and stay up-to-date with industry trends.Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software as needed.Key AttributesPassionate about software development, with a strong desire to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and find practical solutions.Curious and proactive—always looking for ways to improve processes, enhance performance, and learn new technologies.A good understanding of software engineering principles and a willingness to engage in technical discussions.A collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and contribute to a high-performing team.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, with demonstrable related experience.3 to 5 years of experience in software development.Working knowledge of all phases of the software development life cycle.Experience in advanced object-oriented programming, unit testing, and web/server application design.Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and AWS services.Hands-on experience with database technologies such as OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.Knowledge of modern software development practices and design patterns.Ability to document development, including database design, application design, and ongoing documentation of changes.Experience with containerized environments and cloud infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, EC2).Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, CSV, TSV formats.Experience in SaaS and PaaS cloud environments, preferably AWS.Ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies.Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
