Software Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Malaga, focusing on .NET applications.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for some of the most critical parts of our development process, ensuring high quality, efficiency, and collaboration. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and optimizing .NET applications, focusing on performance and memory usage, ensuring improvements provide clear benefits to the end user.
  • Architecting and implementing microservices solutions, ensuring proper decomposition, performance, and scalability.
  • Integrating and designing messaging solutions using brokers and service orchestration tools, ensuring efficient and resilient communication between systems.
  • Implementing secure coding practices to prevent common vulnerabilities and ensure both frontend and backend components are protected.
  • Designing and implementing unit and integration tests, supporting test automation within CI/CD pipelines to maintain production reliability.
  • Analyzing, designing, and optimizing relational databases, identifying and resolving fragmentation, indexing, and performance issues.
  • Monitoring application performance using logging, telemetry, and metrics to ensure production health and proactively address issues.
  • Identifying and addressing technical debt, refactoring legacy code where necessary, and maintaining long-term code quality.
  • Documenting APIs, system behavior, architecture decisions, and workflows to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentoring junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical onboarding, fostering clean, maintainable code across the team.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and demos, and contributing technical expertise to planning discussions.
  • Communicating project progress, risks, and technical decisions across teams and stakeholders, ensuring solutions align with business and user needs.
Your Profile and Background

We have identified the following skills and requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, with a focus on performance tuning and resource optimization.
  • Deep experience with microservices architecture and transitioning from monolithic systems.
  • Expertise in service orchestration, messaging systems, and distributed architecture using Azure-native tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases and strong optimization experience.
  • Skill in Docker, Linux, and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
  • Proficiency in Angular or React, managing complex client-side state, optimizing UI performance, and implementing advanced frontend security practices.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time frontend interaction.
  • Familiarity with telemetry, observability tools, and maintaining high system health in production environments.
  • Strong leadership, technical ownership, and mentoring capabilities.
  • Ability to align technical decisions with long-term business goals and user needs while managing scalability and maintainability.
