With a stunning and meticulous restoration that celebrates César Ritz's pioneering spirit, a prestigious central location, five restaurants and bars overseen by one of Spain's most celebrated chefs, and exceptional leisure and wellness facilities, Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is set to become the city's most luxurious hotel.Key Responsibilities Lead the Food & Beverage operations, including the culinary department.Ensure a positive work environment is established and maintained.Lead all the functions of Food and Beverage division, facilities, and financial performance to ensure maximum departmental profit and cost efficiency is achieved.Analyze sales mix, food and beverage costings, and pricing on a regular basis.Participate in marketing/promotional activities for the Food & Beverage division.Ensure guest feedback and comments are adequately handled; in-house guests and regular guests should be known and frequently met.Conduct functions such as interviewing, hiring, employee orientation, performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and dismissal if necessary.Review and analyze market trends globally and locally to keep up to date in our operation.Lead the implementation of new F&B concepts and projects.Provide leadership and support for all direct reports and other colleagues in the division and maintain effective employee relations.Drive the preparation of the annual F&B budget and marketing plan, taking ownership for the F&B Division sections.Prepare F&B annual Capex plan and manage Capex projects and expenditure.Support the Food Safety program of the food and beverage division.Review inventories and manage accordingly to needs.Manage expenses and payroll according to operational needs.Requisitos Key Competencies and Background Minimum 2 years experience as Director of Food & Beverage within a luxury hotel brand / 5-star hotel; International experience is a must.Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field.Required: Advanced C1 knowledge of Spanish (Fluent preferred), English C1 or fluent.Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations including restaurants and bar management, banqueting, room service, culinary, and stewarding.Previous experience in hotels with union presence preferred.Dedicated to delivering legendary guest experience
