Samsøe Samsøe is looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Buying & Sourcing to manage our buying team and take lead in our worldwide production. You will become part of a team with six dedicated buyers, as well as work closely with the Design-, Pattern Making-, logistic and CSR team. The ideal candidate has several years of experience leading a buying team from sourcing to final product and one who can relate to Samsøe Samsøe DNA and is eager to move the brand forward. In this position, you will Lead and manage the buying department, overseeing all aspects of buying operations and ensuring the achievement of company targets. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with the company's business objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the buying function. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions. Conduct regular performance reviews and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Track and report on key metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and innovations. For this position, we are looking for someone with Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the fashion industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of industry best practices and market trends. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent skills within applications such as Excel and PLM(Kubix) Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
