Our client is an innovative and successful SaaS startup with immense growth potential based in the technological innovation hub of Barcelona with real plans of expansion throughout Europe and beyond. Their software provides an exciting new way to streamline and manage stock, inventory, and sales allowing producers, designers, retailers, wholesalers, product brands, and e-commerce to better understand the life cycle of a product throughout the supply chain. It helps production, purchasing, and sales decision makers to optimize their revenues and reduce their losses.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Head of Sales for the European Market to recruit, train and lead an amazing team in a productive, energetic, and positive work environment. You will be responsible for defining and leading our expansion strategy while simultaneously forming an effective and dynamic sales team. This is a key strategic role within the company that will be integral in achieving their ambitious goals and business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Leading and hiring the sales team as it grows as well as defining the European market strategy and selecting the right partners in each country.
? Build the sales strategy to boost our presence in the European market
? Hands-on, continued market development as well as creating channels to open up to new markets in the region.
? Deliver strategic commercial objectives in terms of growth & MRR through the use of effective KPIs and OKRs.
? Develop, implement, plan and set challenging commercial growth targets to drive the business and achieve ambitious growth.
? Measure and monitor all new commercial leads and ensure contract success rates are improved month on month.
? Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams to support roadmap activity.
? Facilitate and drive performance management processes.
? Work closely with the Leadership Team to provide input on the growth of the business and align revenue strategy with overall company objectives.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS :
? 5+ years of experience in the Saas industry within the European Market
? 3+ years of experience leading a sales team.
? Demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing sales team
? Proven track record of over-achieving sales quota while working and excelling in fast-paced environments
? Desire to take charge of a small team and help it grow exponentially over a relatively short period.
? Experience in a fast-growth business, with an appetite for innovation.
? Driven, charismatic professional and a positive, effective and motivational leader.
? Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
? Languages: Spanish and English. Any other language is a plus.
