Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change Managing ConsultantLocations: Barcelona, Spain; Madrid, SpainTime Type: Full TimePosted On: Posted YesterdayJob Requisition ID: R00023660As a consequence of the continuous growth and development of projects in our organisation, we are seeking a Senior Consultant/Project Manager in the area of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change.Based in Madrid or Barcelona, you will focus on projects, contributing to the achievement of the team and group targets of quality project delivery, client satisfaction, productivity, and revenues.Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), applicable regulations on disclosure of non-financial information, etc.Manage or coordinate small or medium size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.Supervise project team(s) and mentor junior personnel.Understand the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s).Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.About you:Degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline such as environmental management, sustainability or climate change.6 to 8 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (strategy and reporting).At least 3 years of experience as a project manager.Experience as line manager or managing junior resources.Knowledge of ISO management systems standards and IFC Environmental and Social performance standards, as well as on Sustainability reporting standards and regulations.Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.Training and experience in Health and Safety management and services is desirable.Fluency in Spanish and English languages is necessary.To Apply:We aim to build an inclusive culture by identifying, acquiring, developing and retaining a highly skilled and high performing workforce which reflects the diverse global marketplace in which we operate, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious preference, sexual orientation, physical attributes, educational background.If you share our value and are interested in this role, please send your CV and cover letter (in English) with your salary expectations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
