.Are you an experienced game economist with at least 3 years of experience designing, analyzing and managing economies in the world of gaming? In your next role you will form part of a major game management team in directing, strategizing and optimizing the economy of one of the top grossing games in the genre. You will also be a key player in establishing the general game economy strategy and vision within Product Madness.What You'll DoAs a Sr. Games Economy Manager you will be essential to the success of our games. You will work closely with our product, game ops and data teams to design and balance the economy of our games and to provide the teams with actionable insights. In parallel to this you will also be an integral part of the Game Economy team, helping to build the craft of game economy in the company, supporting long term strategy, help build and evaluate top class tooling to continuously improve our ways of working and ensure we support new games currently in production.Day to day:Support the product, game ops and data teams with a holistic understanding of the game economy to generate growth and a positive player experience. This will include creating and testing high-level strategies for pricing of all purchasable items and collectibles and balancing the economy of the game.Define and help design simulations and predictive models to forecast the results of changes and balancing of content, for optimal player experience.Explore the segmentation of the players based on behavior and motivation theory and recommend new and useful segments to use for our game operations and feature design.Increase the level of insights in game economy within the teams.Drive game economy best practices and knowledge sharing throughout the company, working with other Game Economy Managers to build this knowledge capital.What We're Looking ForTechnical Skills:3+ years of experience working in the field of game economyStrong understanding of numerical simulation methods and their applications (Monte Carlo, Metropolis-Hastings and so on).Good understanding of behavioral economics and motivational theoriesExperience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areasKnowledge in SQL – an advantageIntermediate Python or R – an advantageBehaviours:Ability to learn fastProblem solvingGreat personal communication skillsAbility to work with ambiguityHighly curiousStakeholder management skillsAbility to switch context quicklyBenefits:As well as endless learning opportunities and the ability to progress your career you will be well rewarded for your work, below is just some of our amazing benefits.25 days per year + Christmas closure + BCN Bank Holidays + Birthday offYearly BonusCigna - Medical Insurance for all our employees
