What can you expect… You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be an Avionics Systems Engineer, concretely working on Cockpit & RPAS Ground Control Systems and can expect to be involved in the following: Development of RPAS Ground Control Stations for current Programs such as Eurodrone or SiRTAP.
Definition of new systems architectures for new systems such as FCAS (Future Combat Air Systems).
Enabling the implementation of a GCS System, consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements.
Close working with our transnational partners and stakeholders, in deep collaboration with System and Software Engineering design and other disciplines as Safety or Certification.
You will be mentored and supported for new competences linked to Ground Control Stations and have the chance to learn and be involved in the definition of the development life cycle that is necessary to develop a GCS System and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
At the end of the two-year development programme you will have developed into the position of Avionics System Engineer
What we are looking for... To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate: Educated to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
Maximum of three years relevant work experience.
Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English).
A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.
The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
