This position will be located in the Madrid office.As part of a global team, the Multinational Programme Coordinator (MPC) for Europe region works as a multinational process leader supporting all underwriting teams in the BHSI Europe region, providing guidance and direction in the analysis and execution of multinational insurance programmes. The MPC will liaise with customers, brokers, network partners, vendors and other intracompany teams around the globe, and in particular, other MPCs in the execution of multinational programmes.Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for the execution of both inbound and outbound multinational programmes with the assistance of various proprietary tools and systems to support a rapidly growing multinational businessEngage with and serve as the principal day-to-day liaison to network partners in 175 countries, including confirmation of local country support of local underliers as well as related taxes items, subjectivities and local policy requirementsReview underwriting submission materials to assist underwriters with the quoting and binding of local underliersUse BHSI's WorldLink system to execute programs with other BHSI teammates and global partnersLiaise with various teams at BHSI, including Legal, Compliance, Operations and Actuarial to address tax and regulatory compliance matters, reinsurance agreements, data management needs, policy issuance items, global invoicing, premium collections and payments and assure quality control throughout the lifecycle of multinational programmesCorrespond with global customers and brokersSupport the continued development of BHSI's multinational processes, tools and systemsQualifications, Skills and Experience:Minimum 5+ years commercial insurance experienceMultinational experienceIn-depth understanding of policy construction, insurance company operations, regulatory requirements, rating and policy issuanceAbility to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, with teams in other regions and with limited local supervisionStrong analytical, collaboration and problem-solving skillsProven attention to detailMust be proactive and able to work within a team environmentStrong communication skills; both verbal and writtenCompetency in MS Office applicationsLanguage skills: English, native or bilingual proficiencyBHSI Offers:A competitive package and exciting growth opportunities for career-oriented teammatesA dynamic, action oriented, and thoughtful environment centered on always doing the right thing for our customers, teammates and our other stakeholdersA purposely non-bureaucratic organization that embraces simplicity over complexity and emphasizes individual excellence in a team frameworkTo apply, please submit your CV with a cover letter outlining why this would be the perfect role for you to ******: Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
