Innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatingsDecorative paintsApplied surface treatments for metal, plastic, and glass substratesAdvanced solutions for sustainability, performance, and digitalizationNew business solutions through our "Innovation Beyond Paint" programDigital and Data is seeking a UX / UI Designer to enhance a color management platform that enables distributors, multi-shop organizations, and body shops to match colors, mix paint, manage stock, and facilitate repair orders across dozens of countries as part of a digital transformation strategy for BASF Automotive Refinish Coatings. The work involves modernizing an existing web-based platform from a user experience perspective. You will research, collaborate, design, document, and coach to amplify team capabilities and delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the redesign of our website, with a focus on improving the user experience for customers who use our paint services.
RESPONSIBILITIESDeveloping user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutionsCollaborating with various teams and stakeholders to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the platformEnsuring that the website design is user-centered, accessible, and visually appealingConducting user research to understand the needs and pain points of our customersConducting usability testing to validate design solutions and make necessary improvementsServing as a focal point for industry trends and best practices on UX / UI evolution, as it pertains to the platformQUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 3+ years of experience in UX / UI design for web applicationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction is preferred.
