We are looking to hire a Service Continuity Analyst.Main AccountabilitiesDay to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist in the planning, coordination and development of recovery exercises and associated test plans considering facilities, staff, technology, internal and external dependencies.Knowledge in disaster avoidance and control strategies.Work with various groups to support the Business Recovery seating locations across the US, Canada and Brazil.Assist with other resources for the successful resumption of business operations in the event of a disaster.Assist the efforts of staff members in different functional areas during a crisis situation.Assist with testing of the Business Recovery seating locations.Work with the Business Continuity Planners on BIAs and BCPs and coordinate the testing of recovery support and business resumption procedures in different functional areas.During a declaration, assist recovery support and business resumption staff in the implementation of response and alternate operating strategies.
May act as the coordinator during emergency situations.Assist with management to ensure Disaster Recovery issues are addressed as new equipment, facilities, services and systems are installed.Maintain contact with outside contingency planning professional organizations and local/regional emergency response groups.Perform the annual review of Application Recovery Manuals (ARMs), working with the Application Managers and IT-Risk on reporting update status.Assist the Director of SCM with the fulfillment of auditing requirements.SCM Personnel are expected to be on call 24X7.ProfileCompetenciesRequired:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Results-oriented, with demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.Technical SkillsRequired:Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
).Prior Work ExperienceRequired:Minimum 3-5 years experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery planning and coordination.EducationNice to have: CBCP certification.
