Summary: The Global Director Medical Technology solutions acts as the Global Product Line Lead for Medical Digital & Technology and is responsible for delivery of both business and customer value across the Medical Digital & Technology solution capabilities. In their role, they are responsible for the business relationship throughout entirety of the service delivery lifecycle, including design, delivery, and iterative improvement of the product
• In addition, the Global Director Medical Technology solutions outlines overall business and IT objectives, identifies opportunity areas, and crates business capability and technology strategy, vision and roadmaps
• The Global Director Medical Technology solutions collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of product features.
Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Product Portfolio: Support the definition and delivery of the Medical Digital & Technology portfolio which includes but is not limited to: Medical information Management, Evidence Dissemination & Education, Insights Generation, RWE, External Funding Requests, and Medical CRM – Salesforce based platforms
• Product Strategy and Vision: Act as the IT single point of accountability for delivering and communicating Medical Affairs product family vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and needs
• Product Planning and Prioritization: Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes based on business value, customer feedback, market trends, and technical feasibility. Maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is up-to-date, organized, and transparent.
• Plan and manage IT investment portfolios for the business unit, to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and alignment with business priorities and Medical Affairs and IT strategies
• Stakeholder Engagement: Accountable for the overall relationship and collaboration with stakeholders, including business owners (Medical Affairs), development, design, testing, marketing, support and operations teams, and other relevant parties, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on product goals and priorities
• Requirement Definition: Elicit, document, and refine product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant artifacts. Clearly communicate requirements to development teams and ensure a shared understanding
• Agile Execution and Delivery: Work closely with development teams using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of product increments. Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide timely feedback, and resolve issues and blockers
• User Experience and Usability: Advocate for a user-centric approach, ensuring the product meets user needs, delivers a seamless user experience, and follows best practices in usability and design.
• Product Quality and Acceptance: Define and communicate product quality standards and acceptance criteria. Review and accept deliverables from development teams, ensuring they meet defined standards and requirements.
• Release and Launch Management: Plan and coordinate product releases, including feature rollouts, bug fixes, and documentation updates. Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure smooth product launches and successful adoption.
• Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor and analyze product performance, usage metrics, and customer feedback. Identify areas for improvement, make data-driven decisions, and iterate on the product to drive continuous improvement.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks and dependencies related to the product. Proactively address potential issues, communicate risks to stakeholders, and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
• Product Expertise and Support: Develop deep knowledge and expertise about the product, its market, competitors, and industry trends. Serve as a subject matter expert, provide support to internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to training and knowledge sharing activities
• Team and People Management: Ensure 1st class experience for the associates in the team by creating an inclusive, inspired environment and upskilling, developing people.
What you will bring to the role

- Bachelor's degree in computer or IT related field or technical discipline, MBA optional
- 10+ years' experience working in an IT environment and commercial / market access
- 10+ years' experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
- Advanced knowledge of lean/ 6 sigma, design thinking, agile methodology
- Familiarity / understanding of commercial solutions including Salesforce and other Cloud based solutions
- Extensive project management and change management experience, track record delivering global solutions at scale, collaborating across boundaries.
Experience leveraging technology for business and customer needs, partnering, knowledge of new, emerging and latest market trends.
