You'll lead the QA team, managing testing and processes to guarantee optimal performance and a top-tier player experience.
Additionally, you'll advocate for the importance of QA throughout the development cycle, ensuring that quality remains at the heart of everything we produce.What will you do?Actively participate in the entire QA process to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.Ensure that updates and new releases consistently meet high-quality standards before deployment.Ensure quality is a key consideration in the development of new features, focusing on functionality, performance across devices, and relevant metrics.Establish and optimize processes that enable the QA team to work efficiently and effectively.Lead the design and implementation of debugging tools to improve testing accuracy and efficiency.Manage the QA team, ensuring they have the necessary resources, clear goals, and maintain high motivation levels.Oversee testing plans for new features, updates, and releases, ensuring thorough validation and quality control.Mentor QA team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.Advocate for QA best practices across the development team, ensuring quality is prioritized at every stage of production.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of professional experience as a QA Lead, with a strong emphasis on QA process improvements, ownership mindset for the quality of our games, manual testing, and systems integration.Strong proficiency in usage of Excel/ Google SheetsExperience with managing bugs through JIRATest plan tools such as TestRail, Zephyr or XRAYUnderstanding of ads testingExperience with regular communication with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, and Business Development to ensure quality.Proficiency in verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.Knowledge of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and the specific challenges of testing in an integrated environment.Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to delivering high-quality software products.Nice to haveExperience testing and publishing on different mobile platforms such a Google Play, Appstore and AmazonBasic Unity engine knowledgeExperience working with metrics software like Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc.Experience with version control systems.Experience with simple automated testsBenefitsAt Axes in Motion, we understand that to develop the best, most successful video games, we all need to work as one
