At Westinghouse, we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we seek to identify, attract and recruit the most qualified talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the global workplace.If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations & Technical Training Manager.This is a key position on the Competency Development & Nuclear Operations team and the incumbent must have high initiative and exceptional leadership, collaboration, and team building skills.As the Training Resource Manager, you will manage the Technical and Operations Instructors team, support the different training projects led by Competency Development & Nuclear Operations department, as well as teaching in operation and technical areas as possible and mentoring the less experienced Instructors. Office. Traveling is expected to occur as part of the scope associated with the job.Your Day to Day:Establish area and individual objectives, monitor performance, and provide feedback and coaching to ensure objectives are met.Direct, mentor and develop area personnel.Develop the skills of the group and maintain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) within GOS and cross train personnel to ensure resources qualifications to support BU ProjectsPositively model and champion a results-oriented accountability culture. Create an environment that encourages and supports employee participation through involvement in problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing changeMaintain high employee morale in an environment of dynamic production load requirements and technological changesModel and ensure Nuclear Safety behaviors ensuring plans for meeting customer requirements are in compliance with all safety, environmental, nuclear and government regulations.Implement standards contained in Westinghouse "Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct." Ensure that all employees reporting to this position are informed about the standards and related policies and enforce them within this supervised activity.Effectively identify, develop and deploy innovative business solutions, achieving a clear technology superiority in the nuclear energy sector and othersEnsure planning and execution of continuous improvement projects that increase organizational efficiency, provide favorable cost impact, and improve organizational flexibilityLead the operations and different projects with the utmost care to drive a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and rewarding high performance, developing and promoting talent while maintaining stringent focus on safety
