The Back Office team will be responsible for a variety of activities related to physical and derivatives Natural Gas and LNG trading, including settlement of invoices and payments, reconciliation of data to ETRM systems and regulatory reporting.Among the role's responsibilities will be to work closely with several departments in particular Front Office, Confirmations, Credit, Global Services, Compliance and a direct exposure to external counterparties. Main Tasks Perform tasks required for settlement of physical and derivatives NG and LNG transactions, including generating system invoices, manual invoices, reconciling to counterparty invoices, analyzing, and resolving differences with counterpartiesPerform tasks related to payment processing, ensuring all back-office payments are interfaced or otherwise conveyed to Global Services in a timely mannerReporting to the CNMV, Cores, EMIR, REMIT (among others) in accordance with regulatory requirementsLiaising with Compliance team, Regulators and Exchanges to ensure that all compliance requirements are met.Focal point for any issues or inquires regarding regulatory reporting, both internally and externallyCoordinate with Process Support/IT team the automation of regulatory reporting tasksReviewing and assuring new business activities taking place within the Wholesale Gas Trading is correctly included in the regulatory reporting and ensuring relevant governance requirements are met.
