.About the PositionWe are looking for a 6-month intern to collaborate on our European urban mobility projects in our office in Barcelona, Spain (starting asap).What you will be doing:You will support us in our consulting projects. These range from Horizon Europe co-funded Smart Cities projects to supporting the acquisition and delivery of projects with cities in Spain and Portugal.Under the framework of an Innovation Action EU project on green and connected urban mobility, you will be responsible for accompanying Mission Cities in implementing tailored measures.You will provide support to the project's exploitation lead through the conception of business models aiming at multiplying innovative living labs and adopting co-creation communities across Europe.You will support expanding the database of use cases and solutions on the BABLE platform, involving researching best practices of smart city solutions implemented in Iberia and approaching project managers to add them as use cases in BABLE.You will help create a database with the most important events and networks of cities and companies in the sector.You will research the smart cities market in Iberia, as well as the most used solutions.You will evaluate European and national funding sources for innovation projects and assist the team in building concept ideas to help European cities apply for funding opportunities.You will collaborate on our consultancy projects.What you can bring in:A can-do attitudeFamiliarization with the EU funding environment would be highly appreciated.Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary team. Experience in project management would be an asset.Experience in the field of mobility/urban planning would be an asset.Critical capacity and ability to contribute to consultancy projects.Excellent research skills (market research, technologies, urban development, etc.).Excellent command of MS Office tools, notably Excel and PowerPoint.Ability to work independently and represent the organization in project meetings.Your profile:Several years of study or practical experience in a relevant field with very good results.Compulsory internship as part of the curriculum would be preferable.Professional level in English is mandatory.
