Teaching and Research Position at ICADE (Universidad Pontificia Comillas)

About the Role

We are seeking a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in the Economics Department to teach Macroeconomics, International Political Economy, Microeconomics, International Economics, and related courses.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to teaching and developing undergraduate and postgraduate courses
  • Engage in student assessment and provide academic counselling
  • Utilize various teaching methods and assessments
Research Expectations
  • Engage in research and scholarly activities
  • Collaborate with researchers within and beyond the university
  • Disseminate research results through publications and other means
Requirements
  • PhD in Economics or related fields
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (C2 or equivalent)
  • Acceptance of Universidad Pontificia Comillas' mission
Preferred Qualifications
  • Publication record in top international peer-reviewed journals
  • Teaching experience
  • Innovative teaching strategies to deliver high-quality classes in English
