Purpose StatementA Vice President, Program Management is a general manager of a business unit of product and technology development programs. Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Management:Leads division project management function effectively; provides input to functional directors and VPs on team performance. Product/Technology Management:Shapes key project management processes and initiatives; develops and implementsdivision-level business plan; builds team ownership and commitment to program and business plans. Participates in industry-wide program management initiatives. Process Management:Leads and approves TDP/PDP, policy, and practice improvements to drive functional excellence; sets policies for key projects and programs; approves implementationplans for new program management systems. Actively influences cross-functional and cross-divisional efficiencies in program managementmunications and Reviews:Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc. ) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSCQuality Policy. Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System. Management RequirementsMay lead a group or team of employees in the achievement of organizational goals. Guide, coach, direct, and develop direct reports, and if applicable,drive those practices throughout their organization. Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. May direct and control the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups, projects/programs and/or operations. Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e. G. federal/country and regulatory requirements). Job Scope & Leveling GuidelinesFreedom to Act - Guidance Given/Assignments Received, Policy InvolvementActs independently, guided only by very broad company policies and objectives.
