As you already have read, the core business at Byld is to build ventures with corporations. In this sense, this is a key role at our company, as you will be part of the Growth & Business Development team in the process of finding the right corporations with whom we'll build the ventures of the future. As we share risks and profits in our ventures, we are not looking just for customers; we are looking for solid partnerships.
As we are industry agnostic, the sky's the limit. This widens your range of potential corporations and gives you the freedom to search in any sector to uncover the best business opportunities.
As a Jr. Growth & Business Developer, you will:Be able to target corporations and make them hear us.Attend sales meetings and learn how to pitch Byld with the rest of the team.Attend events and talk to prospects to generate new business opportunities.Support the team in developing and feeding our ecosystem in different industries and verticals.Contribute by creating and executing lead acquisition strategies that drive us to a consolidated industries funnel automation.Introduce ideas/data/feedback in the proposals that you will generate closely with the G&BD team.Come up with creative ideas on how to create and close new partnerships.Work closely with our Marketing team helping to create and publish communication artifacts (such as articles, posts, and other media) on behalf of Byld regarding your expertise.What we are looking for…It's great if you have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field, but the most important characteristics are as follows:
You have a user-centric approach/mindset and business and service design experience.You have demonstrated experience finding business opportunities.Understand the corporate innovation world (stakeholders, motivations, needs, etc.).You have around 1-2 years of consultancy or agency experience (strategy or sales B2B).You are creative, extremely curious, and eager to learn.You are a fan of metrics and analytically driven data.You are able to communicate in a clear, solid, and transparent way.You are fluent in Spanish & English.You are detail-obsessed; you always nail everything you prepare.We will roll out the red carpet for you if (not a must):You can manage your time perfectly.You have strong emotional intelligence and negotiation skills.You are not scared of building valuable relationships with our partners.You hold strong analytical and problem-solving skills.You can work with the AARRR Sales Metrics Diagram (Acquisition – Activation – Retention – Referral - Revenue).You are capable of interpreting quantitative data and understanding the needs of users thanks to interviews and questionnaires.What we look for in anyone at Byld…You know and are curious about new technologies and innovation and their impact on the world that we live in.You control the "startup" language.Controlled uncertainty is something that you feel comfortable with.You are able to multitask and work in rapidly changing environments.Your attitude is dynamic, ambitious, and you are eager to learn.You are able to confront opposing opinions.You are willing to take risks, take initiative, and say what you think at every moment.You are obsessed with quality.You have read our values and you identify with them.About ByldByld is a Spanish Corporate Venture Builder founded in 2017 that designs, validates, and launches new ventures with corporations sharing risks and rewards from day one.
