About the JobThe Supply Chain – Global Analytics Planner (Anaplan) will be responsible for generating accurate monthly baseline forecasts with predicted demand volumes across various levels of product hierarchy using advanced algorithms in Anaplan - PLANIQ. This position will report directly to the Global Supply Chain Excellence team and will have a direct reporting line to the Digital Transformation Manager - Supply Chain Planning.Key Responsibilities:1. Anaplan Planning Model BuildingMaintain and administrate the Integrated Business Planning System (ANAPLAN)Understanding of business processes along the S&OP cycle to support the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)Translate business requirements into functional requirements and use casesDesign, build, change and enhance Integrated Business Planning System (ANAPLAN) application models to support business processesMonitor data flows to and from systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurateProvide hands-on training to end users on Integrated Business Planning System (ANAPLAN) models and processesDefine and administer user roles and permissions in the Integrated Business Planning System (ANAPLAN)2. Data Cleaning and Outlier Detection:Utilize Anaplan to clean historical sales dataImplement outlier detection techniques to ensure data quality before feeding into algorithms and models3. Data Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain relevant data sets to be leveraged as related data in PlanIQEnsure timely and accurate data collection and processing to enhance the forecasting models4. Forecast Generation:Develop and generate monthly baseline forecasts using advanced algorithms in PlanIQPredict demand volumes across different levels of product hierarchyDisaggregate forecasts to SKU level5. Forecast Analysis and Adjustment:Analyse the outputs of forecasting algorithms and models resulting from PlanIQOverwrite baseline forecasts where necessary based on additional data analysis and past baseline forecast performanceAnalyse the accuracy of baseline forecasts before and after adjustments of global analytics planner using Forecast Value Add (FVA) metrics6. ABCXYZ Classification Review:Conduct periodic reviews of ABCXYZ classification at different levelsUse Anaplan functionalities to support the classification processImplement classification findings to improve demand planning7. Demand Planner Collaboration:Collaborate with global and regional demand planners, with focus on increasing their understanding on how baseline forecast volumes have been compiled8. Continuous Improvement:Stay updated with the latest advancements in forecasting algorithms and data analysis techniquesPropose and implement improvements to the forecasting process and tools.Qualifications:Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
