General characteristics: We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Data Analytics Program Manager. As a pivotal member of our central Data Team, you will act as the primary interface between data and key business units. This role will be vital to lead and coordinate strategic projects and will provide the candidate many opportunities to work with key stakeholders and shape the way we use data across the organization. The new position will be located in Madrid, although his/her scope will be European. He/she will be part of the European Application team and directly reporting to the Head of Data Analytics & Integration. Occasionally, it will be required to participate in other projects or applications to provide technical assistance to the different teams. Europe travels could be required occasionally.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll do As a PM your role is to "make sure the job gets done". You will own all the activities throughout a data program lifecycle to ensure the BI portfolio. Drive and facilitate projects and communicate proactively with all stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, ensure knowledge sharing, and manage change. Gather requirements from business users, register properly and participate in the prioritization according to critically, resources, and strategy. Interview end-users to determine the need for data, reporting, analysis, and data quality. Work with Product Owner(s) to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value. Plan project scope and establish measurable goals. Establish project timelines and manage the project, including escalations, to complete the project on schedule and within budget. Organize the project kickoff and validation workshops. Define, implement, and track performance metrics once the solution enters production. Develop a deep understanding of technical solutions developed, synthesize complex analytics-derived insights into easy to understand, actionable recommendations that business users can easily extract and execute on. Provide established guidelines, standards, methodologies, and conventions. His/her ultimate goal will be to help improve our products and business decisions by making the most out of our data strategy.
Job requirements: What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience (> 8 years) in a similar role, working as a BI & Analytics project or program manager.
Fluent written and spoken in English and Spanish.
Experience in international environments is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in Agile methodologies including Scrum and traditional waterfall approach.
