IE University Talent & Careers department is looking for a Junior Manager of Marketing and Communications to join its teamThe Junior Manager of Marketing and Communications at IEU Talent & Careers implements the department's marketing and communication strategy, both internally and externally, with a greater focus on IEU Bachelors.
This role requires a creative mind, high proactivity, the ability to work with a large and diverse team and collaborate effectively with the rest of the IE Community.Responsibilities Your role as Junior Manager of Marketing and Communications will involve:Coordinate with the Marketing & Comms unit to develop and reinforce the department's tone and messages to ensure alignment and continue building the brand positioning, targeting different audiences (students, alumni, employers, the rest of the IE Community).Internal content: newsletters, emails, blogs, event marketing, communication with the IE Community.External content: collaborate on specific projects for the T&C website (such as success stories), talent forums, employment reports, social media.Constant coordination and interaction with internal teams.Manage the creation and publication of relevant, original, and high-quality content.Planning and implementing visual and audiovisual materials (photo sessions, videos, infographics, etc.
).Manage relationships with external marketing/communications agencies.Analyze campaigns and translate quantitative or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for reviewing social media, content marketing, and social media advertising campaigns.Career Report Project: coordinate with the MK department.Collaborate with other T&C teams or initiatives/projects based on different priorities.Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should have:Preferably educated in journalism, communication, or marketing.Relevant experience in marketing and/or advertising and/or communication, ideally in an international business environment.Experience in multi-channel marketing (specifically digital marketing).Bilingual in English, fluent in Spanish.Deep knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
), and how to use each platform.Strategic mindset: ability to translate business objectives into actionable communication strategies.Understand the right tools to create/manage content: e.G., WordPress, HTML, Photoshop, HubSpot, Hootsuite.Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with a sense of urgency under tight deadlines.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team.Self-motivated, highly curious, confident, energetic, and creative.Interest in working in a highly dynamic and international environment
