El centro actualmente alberga a 200 miembros de todo el mundo. Los programas de investigación utilizan sistemas y modelos experimentales de plantas, cultivos y animales de granja, y hacen un uso extensivo de tecnologías genómicas y grandes conjuntos de datos genéticos y genómicos.El centro busca un investigador/a postdoctoral para formar parte del grupo de Genética y Genómica de Rosáceas. La persona candidata:Estudiará las comunidades de microbiomas foliares en una colección de manzanas plantadas en seis ubicaciones europeas y gestionadas en diferentes condiciones.Realizará el análisis de datos bioinformáticos y genómicos en un gran conjunto de más de 4500 muestras de hojas de manzano para determinar atributos como parámetros de diversidad, redes y taxones clave involucrados en la resiliencia al estrés de los cultivos en diferentes ambientes.Realizará análisis GWAS y contribuirá en modelos predictivos para identificar nuevos loci y genes candidatos que regulen la respuesta al estrés mediada por el microbioma.Doctorado en biología, biotecnología, ecología o similar.Competencia en análisis bioinformático de datos de microbiomas y familiaridad con software como R y Python.Conocimientos en análisis de asociación de todo el genoma y modelización estadística.Excelentes habilidades de comunicación oral y escrita en inglés.Capacidad para trabajar colaborativamente en un equipo de investigación interdisciplinario.Fuertes habilidades de organización y gestión del tiempo.Análisis del microbioma vegetal (preferiblemente de hojas).Duración del contrato: 20 meses.Fecha límite de admisión de CV: 16/05/2024.#J-18808-Ljbffr
