We are in search of a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician (Steam, Gas, Generator) to join our team at Siemens Energy. This position presents an outstanding chance to work with state-of-the-art technology and be part of a dynamic team committed to shaping the future of energy.
A Snapshot of Your DayA typical day will involve driving various mechanical tasks and activities during the maintenance of large gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators in different countries. You will be part of a team that guarantees reliable performance and dependability of our equipment, always following strict safety and quality standards.
Main TasksPerform hands-on mechanical works during the maintenance and installation of gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to successfully implement solutions.Collaborate with international and multi-culturally diverse teams to determine and complete tasks efficiently.Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.Document and report on maintenance activities and findings.Offer technical support and mentorship to customers and team members.Be ready to be mobilized at short notice for urgent maintenance needs.RequirementsProven experience working as a hands-on mechanical technician.Specific experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators will be highly valuable.Proficiency in English, with the ability to read and understand technical drawings and communicate effectively.Ability to read, understand, and work with complex engineering drawings.Willingness to travel and work worldwide under a flexible working regime.Preparedness to work for extended periods away from home.Great teammate with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in diverse environments.Strong dedication to health, safety, and quality standards.Passion and vocation for field service work.About the TeamYou will be part of a multi-national and multi-skilled team of Field Service employees who support a broad range of rotating equipment worldwide.
