The objective of the Enterprise Strategy Team is to partner with our businesses to develop strategies that capitalize on opportunities to create value across the Group.
The individual will engage in cross-functional, enterprise-wide Strategic Projects and Transformational Programs taking on management responsibilities.
Specifically, the role will include all phases of Project Management from Planning, Execution, to Delivery.
The individual will also oversee multiple workstreams to ensure efficiency and optimal outputs considering interdependencies and synergies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role, you will: Understand the evolving external context and derive implications for CRH strategy and execution.
Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure alignment and efficient execution of strategic projects.
Monitor and report on project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Manage strategic projects assessing various elements of our portfolio.
Represent the company in external meetings and build relationships with external stakeholders.
Share best-practice and coordinate strategy activities for regional clusters.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the project management team.
Individual Competencies Strong strategic thinking and ability to formulate a vision around the recommended course of action.
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate and drive accountability.
Strong verbal and written communication in English.
Previous experience in managing teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience / Education You are/have: A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
15+ years of work experience with a master's degree.
Strategic consulting experience in a top-tier consulting company.
Experience leading strategic projects within a complex organization.
