Your responsibilities as Head of Data Classification will include: Lead the data classification team - currently a team of approximately 13 people - mostly based in Argentina.
Implement continuous improvement systems and find out-of-the-box solutions for complex technical problems.
Keep abreast of new releases and product functionality to ensure successful implementation for clients (sources for innovation).
Set up procedures and working standards to make sure all the projects are delivered on time.
Coordinate multiple, simultaneous projects, ensuring project expectations/timelines are met, and issues are addressed.
Your profile should include the following: Deep understanding of taxonomies.
Sound understanding of metrics, and will have the ability to set up KPIs and establish or improve workflows.
Degree in Mathematics, Science, Technology, Linguistics, Library Science or related.
Strong logical and analytical thinking; you love challenges and finding out-of-the-box solutions.
Excel advanced level.
Comfortable challenging the current state of things and leading process improvements and innovation.
Strong project, time, and organizational management skills.
Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English, spoken and written.
Other languages are a plus.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
Quick thinker, pragmatic, adaptable, innovative problem solver, self-motivated and interested in technology.
Available to travel 2 weeks/3 times per quarter.
Nice to have: Experience managing remote teams.
Technical skills: Regex.
Familiarity with SQL.
