POSITION: Intake SpecialistRESPONSIBILITIES: The Intake Specialist reports directly to the Program Manager. The Intake Specialist is responsible for the development and attainment of outreach and Intake Specialist goals for Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Programs and also for Summer Youth Programs. Conducts extensive outreach functions and generates new customers to the Youth Center. Assists customers at the time of Orientation and registration by providing program eligibility and guidelines. Conduct extensive assessments according to program rules and objectives. Establish Management Information System (MIS) customer data bank; maintain all the eligibility documents and other information that is required to meet the program requirements. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events. The Intake Specialist is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction is promoted throughout the time of registration, orientation, assessment, and follow-up.REQUIREMENTS: Worked directly with customers, community outreach, and business sectors. Possess a professional customer service attitude and strong communication skills. Second language a plus.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License. Must submit to and pass a criminal background check and drug test as a pre-condition to employment. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster.QUALIFICATIONS: BA and (1) one year professional experience or a combination of education plus (3) three years professional experience in assessment, outreach, recruitment, MIS, career counseling, placement, and related areas.AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AFFIRMATIVE ACTION EMPLOYER#J-18808-Ljbffr
