Workload 100%As a Data Engineer Intern at Axpo, you will engage in diverse and challenging data engineering tasks and projects. These efforts are pivotal in innovating our processes and supporting both employees and customers in their daily challenges. You'll handle a variety of data types, from technical to financial, structured to unstructured, and static to real-time. Joining an interdisciplinary team of engineers, you'll contribute to the development and operation of data-driven digital products.What you will do: Design, build, deploy, and improve sustainable data pipelines and modelsOrchestrate and monitor data processesDeploy and operate necessary data infrastructure such as SQL Servers, Azure Data Factory, etc., on our Azure cloudProvide pragmatic solutions to improve and maintain data quality and visibilityCollaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to build data productsScout for new technologies and trends in the field of data engineeringShare and exchange your knowledge with othersWhat you bring & who you are: Ongoing or recently completed university degree in IT, Engineering, or a similar fieldProficiency in SQL, ETL, IaC, Monitoring, Testing, Azure Data Factory, Python, git, and CI/CDSolid understanding of Dataframes and data manipulation libraries like Pandas, Pyspark and KoalasAbility to see the big picture with a good sense of necessary qualityStrong motivation to apply data engineering skills to improve digital solutions and a continuous learning mindsetFluency in EnglishAbout the team: You will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team at Axpo, committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
