Position: Junior Fund Accountant Type: Permanent Location: Valencia, Spain Salary: Starting from €24,000 Work Model: Hybrid Visa Sponsorship: Not provided Key Responsibilities As a Junior Fund Accountant, you'll support the NAV production process for a private equity client portfolio, working closely with Senior Fund Accountants and management teams based in North America.
Your day-to-day tasks will include: Assisting with net asset value (NAV) calculations for private equity funds.
Recording capital activities such as capital calls and distributions.
Managing cash reconciliations and tracking cash transactions.
Pricing portfolios based on fund documentation.
Accruing income and expenses to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Preparing investor statements and responding to client requests for ad-hoc reporting.
About You: Degree in accounting or a related field.
At least 3 months of experience in an internship, trainee, or graduate accounting role.
Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
